Cruise Pt 14

{T H E E N D}

Our final morning. We have to get off the ship in about an hour. Five other ships are disembarking in Miami at the same time… 18,000 people will be going through customs and security at the same time.

The Last Night aboard

My waiter friend had told us that this huge ship will be totally cleaned and all supplies replenished two and a half hours after we leave, and will take on a new set of passengers for the next cruise.

During the 5 days our cruise lasted, the passengers and crew ate eight thousand pounds of beef, thirteen thousand pounds of vegetables, and nineteen thousand eggs.

We clear customs, and get on a bus to go to the airport. Our bus driver says ‘If you feel the bus rockin’, you know I’m rolling.

We change planes in Charlotte, and land in Rochester at 9:20 pm. It’s snowing. Our daughter drives us home.

And that was our cruise!

From Suzanne:

Now that Jeff has had his say (dear God that man of mine can ramble on!) I would like to add a few words of my own.

We had the time of our lives! :lei: :candledinner.sml: :463[1]: :stp:
